About the training

Train Fire VR is an immersive simulation designed to prepare railway personnel for managing emergencies during a train fire. Participants take on the role of the train manager, learning to lead evacuations, suppress fires, and coordinate with emergency services to ensure passenger safety.

The training covers essential responsibilities, including guiding passengers to safety both on board and on the platform, operating handheld extinguishing equipment, and managing communication with fire services.

Developed in line with the European Commission’s TSI LOC&PAS regulation, this VR module builds practical emergency response skills for railway staff.
